A Delightfully Uneventful Day

Home alone today. An opportunity to watch pretty films and fill out some applications and bake and mend. And clean. But I admit I plan on procrastinating that until right before my love comes home. The

more I feel the need to rush, the more likely I am to accomplish something. If I do not wait to clean, I'll probably end up playing dress up all afternoon :)

Anyway, I've discovered the amazing joys of Goodwill, and am looking forward to sharing some of my finds with you. In fact, most of the mending done today will likely be hemming several pairs of new work pants I found for less than $5 a pair.  Considering the last work pants I bought were $20, not all that flattering, and faded to gray rather fast, I'm quite excited. The only bad thing about the pants I found at Goodwill are their ridiculously long legs. And it's not like I don't need to stretch my sewing muscles some. I'll let you know how it goes! In the meantime, I think I'll turn on Enchanted, or maybe even go all out and watch Clueless. Fun fun fun day ahead!

New Beginnings

I've neglected this blog for far too long. It is time for another change, for now I fear I have grown up and am someone entirely different than who I once was. Time for an adventure. Are you with me?
